Part 1 (the original thread)--

Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?

Poll to take once you have received your response--

Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:

1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.

2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.

3) click 'register' on the right side.

4) click the 'credit card' link.

5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.

6) enter your username.

7) enter your password.

? click the button.

9) click 'register' on the left side.

10) select your test type.

11) click the button.

12) select your country.

13) click the button.

14) answer the yes/no questions.

15) select your country again.

16) select your state.

17) type in your city.

18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.

19) select your school.

20) select the month and year of your graduation.

21) select your board of nursing.

22) click the button.

Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

Thanks so much! Its such an amazing feeling! I know exactly how it feels to wait miserably for 48 hours but its definitely worth it in the end...hang in there!! Keep me updated!!

Took RN boards yesterday at 2 pm shut off at 75 questions after an hour, got the good pop up! I am going with it!

Horray!!! Anxiously awaiting for my license to be activated so I can begin signing RN should be mid to late next week!!

After you take the test, you attempt to register for the test again. If it allows you to go to the credit card page, then, supposedly you failed. If it has some type of other response, not allowing you to go to the credit card page, you passed. Just check the Board website for your official standing. That is the one that counts.

i have to say that this site is the only thing along with prayer that keep me sane for that long 48 hour wait! i have enjoyed reading all of your post and just like many of you.....i got 76 ?s.... i'm thinking what??? for sure they gave me one more chance (1 more ?) to determine that i just wasn't getting it!!!! i knew for sure that i failed :crying2:. in school i was told about the pvt. and i am thinking yea right there is no way this so called trick works....

yea so i was wrong. i read your many post and i was relieved to find that this pvt really worked for all of you.....and guess what it worked for me too!!!

pvt good pop up about an hour after my test (july 8 @ 8am) and today (july 10 @ 8am) 48 hours exactly after paying $7.95....i passed!!!!!!:yeah:

:clpty:*wine so pour a glass and have a drink with me, because my birthday is coming this friday& its going down!

lets partayyyyy!!! :lol2::lol2::lol2:

johnetta brown, rn :nurse: thank you jesus!!!!!!

:heartbeatIt worked!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Pearsonvue trick held true to its comments on this website!! I was so anxious, in the back of my head I was convienced that I passed due to the overwhelming response of nurses that had said that the trick worked. On the other hand I still wanted to know for sure so I paid the money to get the qucik results and saw "Pass" what a relief!! All of the countless hours and days paid off!! I got 75 questions, 3 image questions, 15 SATA, and 5-8 drug questions, the rest were priority questions. I did get some content questions may 5-8 but not much, mainly priority questions. When I left the building I felt like "that wasn't soo bad, maybe I did all right." As time went on I kept going over questions and saying "oh my gosh, I didn't know that at all." It was a long 5 hour drive home, especially for my husband that could not even try to wrap his head around the fact that I might have failed with 75 questions. All I wanted to do was call my nursing friends but none were available so I went to this website and boy was it heaven sent!! Anyway if anyone is interested in study habits, I actually found mine here on this website :)

~ First: Saunder's Comprehensive Review to go over some content that I needed to brush up on. Very helpful book that has about everything you need to know in it. However, the questions were not that hard.

~ Second: LaCharity Priority book, this book came in really handy for this exam especially since MOST of it was about priority... which patient to see first!

~ Lastly: MOST HELPFUL thing ever!!!!!!!!!!!!! KAPLAN, I did the book you can buy as well as the expensive online tool with the q-bank and questions. This was so priceless when it came to preparing me for the NCLEX, it was worth every penny. The questions were hard, I would like to say for me they were harder than the NCLEX itself!!

Our school used ATI as a supplement during nursing school it was a great tool during school HOWEVER, I would NOT recommend it for studying for the NCLEX. The questions are too easy and would give you a sense of false security in my book. Kaplan was the way to go and I am super grateful that I had the advice to take the class, it was worth it!!!:yeah:

Well, I must go but thanks to everyone for the support. This website was just what I needed, I hope I can help even one person with their persuit at the NCLEX. Peace~ Heather RN :nurse:

Checked pearson vue and got the good pop up...paid for the quick results and sure enough I passed!!!!! Definitely can see why this trick works and definitely believe it to be true for anyone.

Thank you Caliotter3!!! I was so confused. I am studying now and want to know as much as possible so I could be in the know. Thanks, again:yeah:

I took my test on July 7th, I waited four hours before checking perason vue. After logging in, I tried the pvt, and I got the good pop up. I live in California, no quick results here. Does anyone one know how long before I get my results and how soon I should see my name on the California's BON.
