Part 1 (the original thread)--
Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?
Poll to take once you have received your response--
Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results
Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:
1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.
2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.
3) click 'register' on the right side.
4) click the 'credit card' link.
5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.
6) enter your username.
7) enter your password.
? click the button.
9) click 'register' on the left side.
10) select your test type.
11) click the button.
12) select your country.
13) click the button.
14) answer the yes/no questions.
15) select your country again.
16) select your state.
17) type in your city.
18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.
19) select your school.
20) select the month and year of your graduation.
21) select your board of nursing.
22) click the button.
Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
i just took NCLEX-RN at 11 am. computer shut off at 75. i came home at 2pm and tried pearsonvue trick at 4pm and 6pm. I got good pop up. does this mean that I pass? Or should I wait until tommorow? Does it matter if it's weekend or weekdays? because today is saturday.I got lots of SATA questions, priority questions, 2 or 3 cohorting questions, lots of meds, 2 meds calculation, s/s of some diseases but no questions on maternity or peds. I am very scared. this is the second time i took the test. I didn't tell my family because i dissapointed them first time.
I am very scared. I hope I passed.
Because you are asking about the pearsonvue trick I am merging with existing thread for continuity
Be very carefully when you verify PVT! When I got home after test and checked got good pop up and then I realized that was to early !After one hour when I checked again it went all the way and scheduled again for the test...So I felt in my first attempt to be RN on 04/01/11...I have done lot of questions on kaplan on demand but the test was harder than that ....Anyone else took test this days? Any suggestions ?
Hey guys! I just took the exam today at around 8 am. Stopped at 75 too. After 4 hours I tried pvt and got a lucky pop up! * crossing fingers* but so excited for final result fr bon.. To mbuttar: buy the la charity book prioritization, delegation and assessment.. I guarantee u it s the right book for you because nclex focuses on that field! Kaplan is good too it teaches u strategies, I suggest u study only one or two books and keep reviewing over and over! U will be amazed how good u can be! Congrats guys let know if anyone has passed ok
Avicenafm2: well I have a baby so the only time I can concentrate is when she's sleeping:( but I think this is helpful to anyone too------so for 2 mos,1. i sleep and wake up early in the morning 4-5 a.m. Phase myself for two hours , Answer q&a test, check rationales and repeat the test..(remember repitition sids you in memory retention-- unless you have the super power lol). besides, my grandfather used to tell me, the best time to study is the early morning when your mind is fresh and can easily grasp. 2. I spare Myself on weekends, relax dude ! You don't wanna drain yourself too much! 3. I Never move on to the next q&a test until I was 97-98% correct ALREADY! -- I know it's crazy but I just want to build a solid foundation .. I seemed to hav forgotten so much since I graduated 2009.. I took the first test and failed I got really depressed ... But hey guys never give up !!! Here's one more thing, pray the rosary!!!! He will aid you ! Honestly, there are times wherein I completely don't know the answer, or I get overwhelmingly confused, but just trust in Him, He will lead u the right answer...

Check your appointment history. If it says Delivery Successful and you still got the good pop up then that means you pass. I also had 75 questions tried the PVT trick right after my exam got the good pop and saw my name at BRN's website after four days. :)
