Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:

1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.

2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.

3) click 'register' on the right side.

4) click the 'credit card' link.

5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.

6) enter your username.

7) enter your password.

? click the button.

9) click 'register' on the left side.

10) select your test type.

11) click the button.

12) select your country.

13) click the button.

14) answer the yes/no questions.

15) select your country again.

16) select your state.

17) type in your city.

18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.

19) select your school.

20) select the month and year of your graduation.

21) select your board of nursing.

22) click the button.

Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

The quick results were available i would say about an hour after i started the exam..good luck you guys you will all pass!!!! waaahoooooo

hey guys , i just found out that i passed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! those past 48 hours have been the most excruciating hours of my life. This is pure torture, they should give the result sooner. well i guess the trick work for me because it would not let me get to the cc page , and i passed now i can move on and get my Rn degree. thank you Jesus! thank you for helping and keeping me sane :):clpty::dncgbby::dancgrp::hpygrp:

How soon after the exam is this thing supposed to work? I finished exactly 45 minutes ago. Not so sure how it went, it shut off at 75 questions but I only got 4-5 SATA, no math questions, hardly any meds. Mainly it was just priority questions? I don't know if that means I was getting them all wrong so the exam wasn't giving me those kind of questions! I just did PVT and got the good pop-up, but who knows...it's going to take even longer for official results because of the holiday...who celebrates holidays these days anyways? Not nurses! Ugh....

Mines shut off at 75 also, did you last question, was it an easy question. I got an easy question LAST.

ugh, I had 3 math questions, 10 SATAs and the rest were mostly pharmacology and psych! After that it was prioritization. Gah!

The quick results is late today for me. I took my test on Jul 1 at 1005 but was scheduled for 1030. Hopefully it will come soon.

Took the exam on July 2nd, had 75 Qs, finished in an hour, PVT worked and I got the "good" pop-up. ... Now I'll just have to wait, probably longer than 48h because of the July 4th weekend. Ah well, time to enjoy picnic food, fireworks, and friends I have barely had time to see because of nursing school!
