Part 1 (the original thread)--
Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?
Poll to take once you have received your response--
Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

10) select your test type.
11) click the button.
12) select your country.
13) click the button.
14) answer the yes/no questions.
15) select your country again.
16) select your state.
17) type in your city.
18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.
19) select your school.
20) select the month and year of your graduation.
21) select your board of nursing.
22) click the button.
Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
I took my nclex a couple weeks ago, had 76 questions, and I tried this trick and it worked. A friend of mine also passed and it worked. Another friend of mine took the test today, had all 265 questions and it will allow her to re-register, so for her sake I hope this trick is bogus but I will let you know if it stands true for her.
Did your friend (who got the 265 and cc screen) pass or fail?
I received my results today(July 02, 2010) and I took NCLEX-PN exam May 19, 2010)... Im from San Francisco, CA....PVT works for me... I only tried it once after 6 weeks of waiting because my friend is forcing me to try it.. but yeah it works for me... Good Luck to those who are still waiting for their results...
OK, dumb question...but how do you OFFICIALLY find out if you passed?? no one told us this...do you have to go check the BON website over and over until you see your name? how long does that take? or do you check the pearson vue site? or do they (who?) send you an email (so we need to check spam?) or do they send you an official letter in the mail.... ??? thanks! I took the test tody and got the good pop up but with e holiday weekend, i figure it'll be at least tuesday before i get anything and i will be out of town for a bit so if anything comes in the mail, i wont know....sigh.... who tells us the official results, how and when??thanks!
Official results come from the BON
Emotional Stress sucks. I took NCLEX-RN on July 1st and did the minimum. I was super excited when the computer shut off at 75 but started second guessing myself on my drive home. Did the PVT yesterday and this morning with the alleged "good pop-up" and seriously its the only thing keeping me sane. Can't sleep, can't eat heck I even had to ask for today off because I couldn't work. Anyway, I am pleased to here so many of you have passed with the PVT and I hope it is true in my case. I will repost after I find out today at 2.
I took my exam on Jul 1 at 1000. The computer shut off at 75 questions also. When I got home, I checked the PVT and got the good pop up. I've been checking it ever since then and a good popup is still up. I'm hoping it's accurate like the rest of the others that got good popups. I will post at 1000 to see if I passed. Good luck to everyone waiting to go to the quick results today and everyone taking the test today.
Guilbert01-
We can indeed find out our results on a weekend. It should be available at the time you scheduled and not the time you finished. Really though the computer graded it right after we finished, heck even while we were takin it so Why must we suffer through 48 hours of agony? Ughh!!! :heartbeat

Okay, so I took the exam at 8 this morning. Got the good pop up when I got home and checked. Just did it again to make sure I got the same message, and I did. So, I'm going to enjoy the rest of my weekend and look forward to getting my Quick results on Sunday. I'm glad that test is over with. I've had so much anxiety about it. I even tried to change my test date on Thursday but was told I could not do so because I called less than 24 hrs before my test time. I actually called at 8 on the dot but after going through all of the prompts it was 10 minutes after and they wouldn't let me at that point. If I really did pass then I am happy that I didn't change my date! Good luck to everyone else who will take it or who have taken it and are awaiting results.
