Part 1 (the original thread)--

Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?

Poll to take once you have received your response--

Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:

1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.

2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.

3) click 'register' on the right side.

4) click the 'credit card' link.

5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.

6) enter your username.

7) enter your password.

? click the button.

9) click 'register' on the left side.

10) select your test type.

11) click the button.

12) select your country.

13) click the button.

14) answer the yes/no questions.

15) select your country again.

16) select your state.

17) type in your city.

18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.

19) select your school.

20) select the month and year of your graduation.

21) select your board of nursing.

22) click the button.

Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

Congratulations! I'm happy for you, I think im still in disbelief that I passed. Tommorrow or Monday I will find out my quick results. I did 75 questions, like most of the bloggers on this site, i found the questions to be vague and I wasn't sure if I passed or not, but I keep getting the good pop-up... :nurse::heartbeat:redbeathe:redpinkhe

This waiting game is agonising. I sat mine yesterday (10.07.10) @ 0800HRS and got the good pop up. I hope I don't have to wait til monday. I want to know for sure so I can "officially" celebrate.

Congratulations! The stats don't lie, so I'm accepting it. Yesterday I was doubting myself, but everyone seemed to have shared the experience I went thru with the series of questioning and length of the exam. Treat yourself and tommorrow we will find out. Dont hold back, I know i worked hard and Im going to share a few drinks w/my classmates. You should do the same, its friday!

my bf tried the pvt and it went straight to the cc page. :( that was a bad sign, but we're still hoping for a miracle. :) waiting for the official results.

Paid for quick results @exactly 48 hrs. I really did pass! i havn't slept well for the last 3 days. I just needed to know.

To pink princess nurse: good luck to ur bf. I hope he passed.

Well, it's official now as of this morning. I passed! I am a RN! :nurse: In August I took NCLEX, got the credit card screen and failed. :crying2: 2 days ago I retook it, got the good pop up and passed. This success is so much sweeter to me since I failed the first time. It means so much more now! Good luck to all! :yeah:

Took my nclex on Thursday. Got the good pop up the next day. Waiting for quick results. Is it 48 hours from the test time or 48 hours after the test ended?

the PVT works, its awesome but theres no better feeling than seeing your quick results! Its official I am an RN! I tested thursday at noon, my quick results were ready today at 130pm. This is such a great feeling! Congrats to all!

I took the NCLEX-PN this past Thursday, then Friday I found out about the PVT , which I had never heard of. So I tried it Friday and got the good pop up. I was a little skeptical because I thought sure I had bombed the test. I was so worried. But today, I found out that I passed! Praise God! So what I'm saying is.... the "trick" worked for me. Good luck to everyone awaiting results!

hi everyone. i took my test on sept 27,2010 at westlake village. it was really nerve wrecking. as soon as i sat on the chair i began to sweat even if the a/c was on. at first i was thinking it mught shut down at 85, then it just went on then i reached 150, i began to feel really nervous, i maxed out the pn test to 205 and finished in 3 hours....by then i told myself..i failed coz i said i finished way too fast and i may have not read the questions right to finish 205 questions in 3 hours. i went home with tears in my eyes, 2 days later i learned about the PVT TRIck from a friend and was skeptical to try it at first but then i decided to give it a try after researching it here at allnurses.com.. it seemed really accurate after all the testimonials..so i did do it, my heart was beating so fast as if it was coming out of my chest everytime i would type in the info it needed, when i got to the section where it was asking for my graduation date and so on...i didnt want to press the next button coz i was scared that the payment method would come out. Then when i got the courage i clicked "next".and the GOOD POP UP" came out..i was relieved coz like everyone says truth or not it really helped me release some of my anxiety and truth is it gives you some hope or if you get the payment method it allows you sometime to try to get ready for the exam.

12 days later i got my letter in the MAIL..as i was tearing up the envelope i was in tears and sure enough "I PASSED"...i was crying tears of joy by now.

as a recent NCLEX PN taker, i can say this PVT TRICK worked for me and to all those who have taken their NCLEX, good luck and keep your faith..congrats to everyone who passed..im still in la-la land till now coz i know that test was HARD...

Hello everyone,

Let me start by saying I am the biggest skeptic of all. I took my NCLEX PN on friday 10/8 at 11:30am. It took less than an hour. Was bombarded by questions I just knew I had no chance of answering correctly. Was a bit supprised when the computer quit at 85, had gotten into a roll and the screen went blue. Really thought there was no way I could have passed, although I had done quite well in school. Found this site and read all of the posts - really- just had to see what the stats were for the PV trick... Well gave it a shot yesterday and got the "good" pop up. Today got the "unofficial" results that I passed. To say that I am extremely relieved would be an understatement! So let it be stated here that I also strongly believe in the PV trick and will pass it on to some friends as well to alleviate their stress at test time! Good luck to all!

Hi everyone. I took my nclex pn on 10-6-10 and tried the pop up trick about 3 hours later. I got the good pop up. I was worried that it didnt work right since i had been out of school for 4 years, only awnsered 85 questions, and they all seemed fairly easy. Well on friday 10-8-10 I found out that i am offically a nurse! So yes it does work!
