took my exam 6 hours ago (7/15/14) when i arrived home i tried the trick but it directs me to cc payment. so i thought i failed the exam. I kept on crying and crying. I did some research and some says that the trick does not work anymore.. i was i little bit relieved. Now i just have to wait for 2 days to get my result. Does anyone there have the same experience who didn't get a good pop up but still passed?

The "old" PVT is gone. The new one essentially requires you to be ready to pay $200 if your status is "fail" and because the exam is scored twice, there's a chance that the first score could be "fail" and you could still pass at the second scoring. That would result in you donating $200 to Pearson Vue for an exam you don't have to take.

There are dozens of threads in the NCLEX forum. You risk $200 to get a pop up that may or may not be accurate. Wait 48 hours for quick results which ARE accurate
I know! I guess i just have to wait for 2 days. Hopefully the result is good. Thank you for your reply. I feel a bit okay now.
Since when did they changed it?
The change happened in late August and I'd expect they simply changed the billing system part of it, which eliminated the glitch that caused the PVT to exist in the first place. I doubt they made any significant changes to the way the billing system checks for a result nor how the system sets the "flag" for what the result happens to be at that time.
Therefore I would expect that the PVT is as accurate as it always has been. If you live in a State that participates in Quick Results, that would be far less risky, financially speaking, than entering your credit card info and attempting to actually register and pay for a new attempt at the NCLEX.

I took mine today and the trick did not work for me. It also directed me to the payment screen. But my computer shut of at 75 questions. So I have no idea

When you say that it is corrected twice. Do you know the average time they "grade" it twice? I've taken it on sept 4, its been exactly two weeks. I tried like 3 days after I took the test and I just currently tried the re-register but it states the same message, " recently schedule the exam, another registration cannot be made". I should be in the clear correct?
