Pearson Vue still says "Ready for Delivery" 2 days later... HELP!

Published

I took the NCLEX on 7/2 at around 1 PM. It has now been almost 48 hours and the Pearson Vue website still says "Ready for Delivery." I am a nervous wreck. I wanted to try the Pearson Vue trick but I can't do so until it reads "Delivery Successful." I have seen several posters saying they were able to try the trick right after they got home. Has anyone had this happen to them? I hope it doesn't mean anything bad. :(

Also, I contacted Pearson Vue yesterday and they told me it can take up to 48 hours to update but I'm close to 48 hours now... They additionally told me that there were no holds on my account. So I don't get why it's taking so long. Any experiences and the outcomes would really help!

Right there with you...approaching the 24 hr mark....did you try looking on your BON website? Sometimes it is showing there first for some folks....

how was the test?

Many people are saying that New York takes at least 4 or 5 days... and that's the earliest I've seen someone say that they've posted license numbers. So "no records" for me. :(

Honestly, hard....lots of SATA, prioritization, drag and drops - I had like 3-4 of them...no math....of course that is my strong asset!!

Well like everyone else says, I walked out feeling like crap. I got 75 questions. I tried remembering some and I can come up with approx. 30 that I know I got right.. but that doesn't really mean anything because apparently everyone gets a 50%.. so I guess it's all up to whether I got harder questions. I got several SATA, about 5 or 6 Pharm, 2 ordering, 2 pictures, some infection control, etc. It's was a bummer. I don't feel very confident. I know I got some wrong that I should have known. It would come down to 2 and I picked the wrong one! I just wish I could try the trick so I would know. :( The hard thing is that everyone thinks they failed after it.... so it's hard to tell. I just wanted to kick myself after choosing the wrong answer on some of them!

Mine shut off a 75 too.....I honesly wanted more because I did not feel confident on what I had answered......

Lizzie - do you have the option of quick results since it has been over 48 hrs? Did you try the 900#?

Well. I took NCLEX in 2000, so things are different now. BUT. I took it on a July 2 or 3....because of the HOLIDAY things got all messed up...it took 11 days for me to get any results. I'm pretty sure you will get the info you need by the end of the week when people are back at work. so remember its most likely the stupid holiday messing things up. (Not the the 4th is a stupid holiday, but I remember it being very annoying when I was waiting! :lol2:

I also got 75 questions, and to be honest, I thought for sure I had passed, then 3 days later, I was sure I had failed, then passed, then failed, then one day I checked the BON website for the 100th time and I had a license. It's miserable the waiting. I suggest going to the gym, plugging in the headphones and doing something good for your body while you wait...hanging around with people killed me because they all wanted to know my results...eeek.

I hope you get good news!!!!

I don't have the option of Quick Results yet on the website.. I tried calling the 900# but my phone service doesn't allow 900 numbers...

me neither, I tried too....have no idea why PV has not sent the delivery yet....did you have any problems while there? I was reading someone else's comments and she was put on hold due to a palm screen....the lady at mine said to put my palm on when I was done with testing and I did and she asked me my name as she had the wrong person and told me to do my palm again.....not sure if that would be something that would hold it up or not. Crazy these past two days have been horrible !!! I wil be calling PV from work tomorrow to find out what the heck is going on.

They actually were having difficulty starting the exam so they had to call while I was at my cubicle and get a special code or something to put into the computer. I know 4 or 5 of the workstations were down apparently due to AT&T and Verizon being down.. at least that's what the receptionist said. I really didn't understand what the problem was but they didn't seem to be surprised by it... I don't even get what "Ready for Delivery" means. When I called Pearson Vue yesterday, they told me that if it took longer than 48 hours to update (and it has) that I might be delayed in getting my Quick Results because apparently it takes 24-48 hours after it has changed to delivery successful for Quick Results to come up. This WOULD happen to me. I'm calling them tomorrow. I've called them twice already. One guy told me it wouldn't change until the results were available but we know that's not true... I need to find someone tomorrow who knows what they're talking about. I should of had my Quick Results at this point because other people have received their results today. It's apparently automated. I hope all my pain and suffering is worth it.. lol.
