PDR Question

I am looking up combination drugs. I just went out and bought a PDR because the ones at the school were being used and I have to have two before tomorrow night. I am not used to the PDR and was wondering, where to look for the combinantion drugs. I am finding the single ones fine. I am a little frustrated.

Thanks for any help anyone can give.

Excuse me, two what? Drug books?

A PDR would not have been my first choice, because we were told by instructors that whatever drug book we used, we would be legally responsible for all the information on that particular drug.

Maybe Texas has different rules, but the PDR is not really all that helpful to nurses, and nursing students especially.

I recommend you trade it in for a good nursing drug book.

I hope the rules are different. They have one PDR in the classroom and it was being used and the one at the Public Library was out. That is what she told us to look it up in. I am having a terrible time finding it though. I hope someone can give me some more hints, or either I may just take it back. I dont know what I will do about those sheets I have to turn in though.

Is there an index or a Table of Contents in that thing?

What's the actual assignment say?

I found what I needed. That is one huge book. I think I will take it back anyway because it doesnt sound like nurses use them much.

What we were having to do was to copy information about drugs into a drug notebook for an assignment. We are having a test over it tomorrow night and then turn in our drug book.

It has taken a lot of time. I would have done much better had we not had to do that. It takes about 45 minutes to complete one sheet and we had 70 drugs. :o You tell me I wont be glad to have this behind me.

Thanks Angie.
