I want to buy a PDA to use it for drug reference and such in the clinical are. Do any students or CRNA's out there have any advice on a good one and also on good programs to buy for CRNA's use. I start phase II clinical in august but thought I should buy it now and spend the summer learing to use it. Thanks in advance!

Our program too uses Typhon to log our cases and I was wondering how you did it with the PDA. As far as I know we can not access it from the hospital. It would sure save time to be able to enter data as I am working instead of trying to remember it all for when I get home. Please let me know, thanks!
You can get the software from the Typhon website to download to your computer for your PDA. Once you have the software on your PDA, you can log the cases into your PDA and then Hotsinc to your computer when you get home. When you go to Typhon's homepage there is a link to upload data from your computer. They also have a tutorial on the website to teach you how to get it set up. Hope this helps.

I have used a Palm M515 for 2+ years ( this is my second, I wore out my first :chuckle). I have down loaded the Epocrates program ( about $99/year ) includes meds, 5 minute clinical manager, and now all labs , Take a look at it on Epocrates .com . I can't be without it.
good luck
