Hi Jeweliana ?
I believe both schools are in partnership with OCNE so the curriculum would be the same. I would also look at the NCLEX pass rate for each school. This is not an indicator that you would pass the exam or that the faculty is better at one school, but I know this may be important to some people. I would also look into the clinical location options you may have. In Portland/Gresham area you may have the opportunity to have clinicals at more I guess urban areas. It depends on what you are looking for, do you want to work in an urban or rural area?

Thank you MRA? I would rather work in an urban area, MHCC is my first choice. But what I’m worried about is declining UCC and not getting into MHCC since I’m only an alternate. I want to say yes to MHCC but what if they don’t get to my alternate number and I already turned down an acceptance at UCC

And as for when MHCC notify us alternates I have no idea, I’ll let you guys know if I hear from them!
I'm assuming they let alternates know as space becomes available.
If I were you, see where it'd be easier to get around too for clinicals, I have never heard of the other school just mhcc.
Which school is less money, less living cost and look at reviews for the schools. Review how you'd live at each location getting around, support system, etc. It and easy to get into nursing school, and it's only going to get more competitive because of number of students applying for less spots. Think about if itd be easier to live temporarily in a place you dont prefer to become a nurse versus waiting to see if mhcc opens up.

I’m alternative #16 at MHCC this year...
How about yourself? Anyone else an alternative?
