Hi everyone, I thought I would start a thread for all the applicants of the Portland, OR area that applied to the schools above. Who else applied ? :)
I applies to all 3 and am waiting for the hear about the 1st round around the middle to end of March. Fingers crossed, hope to make some new contacts, good luck everyone!
Yeah CCC was last week.
Went over pretty much the same things. 2nd year nursing students came in to talk to us as well.
So CCC pricing is at about $9,800 depending on if u do hard back books vs just e books. So I'd say 5,000-6,000 difference.
Both schools have their perks that's for sure.
Crazy that they cut PCC class size down so much.

Yeah I was surprised by the cohort size. I hope it jumps back up to 40. Dang, $10k for the two years at CCC? Not bad at all!
Hi, been lurking on this thread for a while. I'm an alternate and still waiting for that phone call. I noticed that the name checkoff list was NOT in an alphabetical order and seemed random... does that mean that is the order of their secret alternate ranking? She checked me off in the middle of the list so I thought FML.
Also it is true that there were a lot more alternates present of 48 people there than the accepted (20-25?), so unless a lot of accepted people drop (which I don't think will happen given how competitive things were this year), people not in maybe top 10 of waiting list might not have much of a shot at PCC, that's my take on it though!
@nurseregal86 CONGRATS!
