Hi...I know there's a FB page but, I figured why not stay on Allnurses the OG forum for nurses lol...In any rate..I'm applying to the Part time program and will be going to the info session this Thursday. Really nervous and dont know what to expect about being accepted...Any other hopefuls?

When do you expect to hear from admissions? Im thinking the 24th of October.

PBSC for sure! I feel like it's more competitive for a reason!

I know exactly what you mean...im still surprised that they accept 2-300 students...PBSC accepts less but retains more students

@ Minnie Was that the average she sent you or the minimal point accepted? Either way you're not that far away from it...you made a good move by applying to Belle Glade...

At this time total points of 22.23 or higher were required for acceptance.

I didn't know they accepted 200+ students a semester. I thought it was just 90 for lake worth, 10 from LPN program and 25 for belle glade.

Question.

Did anyone get an acceptance email? What is taking so long?

Broward accepts 250 students. PBSC still only accepts 90

Oooh. I was thinking about Broward, but too far for me. Also, i hear their program is difficult to pass, idk.

I looked at the course schedule they have 8 weeks for 1 class...that may work for some but it doesn't for me...when I said PBSC retains more students I was talking about completition rates...Broward is 55% PBSC is 87%...

That is correct. They also don't take summers off. So the ones that make it to the end, finish sooner than PBSC. That is why they are my backup if I don't get in at PBSC.

there are about 30 or so members on the facebook page now. More are added everyday.
