PBSC Fall 2012 hopefuls

Hi everyone!! I probably am jumping the gun by posting this already but I'm too excited and just can't believe I'm finishing up my last semester of pre reqs for the program. I take my HESI on Feb 16th. Anyway I just wanted to introduce myself and see if anyone has also taken the hesi and what would be the best study guide to get. Here's to hoping for a great fall!!! :D

Im not exactly sure what the fee is.

I have been thinking about a rolly back pack lol...but I haven't decided.

Wasn't it mentioned in the welcome letter? I remember it saying something about insurance and some other fee - I can't remember specifics.

What's the 135 fee for nursing when you go to pay? Thats a sour surprise
Did you pay already? Am I missing something? I remember something about a fee but I didn't have to pay yet, how did you know how much it is.

Thanks for the advice Joannafiore - got the rolling backpack! Another question...when there is a school holiday like Labor Day, that falls on a Monday, are we still required to be at clinicals for that day (given that the hospital isn't on holiday)? Just when I think I have the answer to all of my silly little questions, another one pops into my head.

I do not believe there are clinically on holidays due to the fact that teachers/instructors have off.

here's a tip: make copies of everything!! papers seem to mysteriously disappear from you file or portfolio.

What about the skills lab videos??? How are those used?

The skills lab videos are used for learning the skills that they teach us in skills lab, I usually watch them after going to skills lab to better understand the technique
