Hi everyone!! I probably am jumping the gun by posting this already but I'm too excited and just can't believe I'm finishing up my last semester of pre reqs for the program. I take my HESI on Feb 16th. Anyway I just wanted to introduce myself and see if anyone has also taken the hesi and what would be the best study guide to get. Here's to hoping for a great fall!!! :D

I got everything except the books.. Does anyone know if the book list on the website is the most current? and also do we have to buy a pen light separately? it says we need one and it isnt included in the kit we buy..

I think I have everything except that pen light you mentioned. For the books, I used the lists posted on the bookstore (eFollett) website, but I ordered my books through Amazon and saved a ton of money. I was able to get everything but the Evolve Complete RN Collection, which I picked up at the bookstore. Now I have a question...does anyone know if we are expected to wear our uniforms to lectures and skills labs? Thanks!

You don't have to wear uniforms to those classes. At least we didn't have to last semester.

The Evolve set was $133. Don't be shocked when you see it. It's a thin package with a dvd inside. You're basically paying for the access code for the online content through Elsevier.

The skills lab videos are included with the Fundamentals of Nursing package.

Just wanted to double check... We just hand in copies of our CPR card and everything else right?
