PBSC Fall 2012 hopefuls

Hi everyone!! I probably am jumping the gun by posting this already but I'm too excited and just can't believe I'm finishing up my last semester of pre reqs for the program. I take my HESI on Feb 16th. Anyway I just wanted to introduce myself and see if anyone has also taken the hesi and what would be the best study guide to get. Here's to hoping for a great fall!!! :D

My friend was in the program and said it's crazy to take our online and that you learn way more in class. Congrats on the engagement. That's awesome...this month is going great for you:) me on the other hand just separated from my husband...but I think it will be better for me. Less stress.

Marshall is awesome but difficult. You will learn a lot an if her online lecture is like the classroom lecture you'll be okay. I had her in class but it was half blackboard and she would put her lectures online. So it was almost like being in class and you can talk to her as well. Just can't go over your tests as far as looking at them but she will tell you where your weaknesses are. So don't fret you've gotten this far. You'll do fine.

Congratulations Felicia! :) enjoy your vacation!! Marshall is really good but I also had her half in class and half online. She records audio lectures so u might be alright but I know I prefer to go to class at least sometime.. Mj, sorry to hear that.. I know ull be fine no matter what. Your a strong and determined person :)

Congrats Felicia and sorry MJ, although I am happy for you if your happy and better off. I was wondering, anyone declining the Hep B series? If so, anyone figure out the declination form deal???? Also Felicia, I am in the online skills class too, I didn't really have the option of the weird time from 2-4, so heres hoping its not too bad. We can help each other get through.

Tosh, im declining it. I emailed mrs. boles again and im waiting for her to respond. In the first email she just said to check the packet for it but i told her it wasnt there.

The hep B is really recommended. The chance of getting it from a needle stick is really high, so I recommend you getting it when you can.

Hmmm. Do you know how long the vaccine is good for? I got the two dose series in 2002. MD now said its $80 per dose with them. Anyone else find hep. b cheaper at another place?
