Hi everyone!! I probably am jumping the gun by posting this already but I'm too excited and just can't believe I'm finishing up my last semester of pre reqs for the program. I take my HESI on Feb 16th. Anyway I just wanted to introduce myself and see if anyone has also taken the hesi and what would be the best study guide to get. Here's to hoping for a great fall!!!
I guess they're taking about the same amount of time they did as last semester (Spring 2012). Their application was due on Oct 1st, but it feel on a Saturday so that pushed their date to the 3rd. They found out a decision on Halloween (31st) which is four weeks from their application due date. However, I feel like since there is only one program it shouldn't be taking this long. But, all we can do is wait......so more (sigh).
Okay so all that letter means is that the application was reviewed? Well wouldn't they know once they reviewed all the applications who got in and who didnt just from that?
I believe since the last people's points weren't posted until yesterday (I think) they're giving them enough time to get things situated if they have problems with their points. Also, I'm pretty sure they're dealing with the chemistry problem. I still don't like the thought of waiting until next week. I'm sure none of us would have been so upset/disappointed if they would have attached an exact date to the email of when to expect decisions.
Guys i went to the limited access office n spoke to leila myself. She said its the chem thts holding them up n shes busy processing the appeals now. They didnt know if they were going to accept them or not but i think they decided to and she said next semester they wont accept it. But just know thats why its taking so long she said it was a huge mess this term bc its the first time "the state" didnt want them to accept a higher chem.

I feel bad for that office! I imagine all the emails flooding in will drive them bonkers!
