Hi everyone!! I probably am jumping the gun by posting this already but I'm too excited and just can't believe I'm finishing up my last semester of pre reqs for the program. I take my HESI on Feb 16th. Anyway I just wanted to introduce myself and see if anyone has also taken the hesi and what would be the best study guide to get. Here's to hoping for a great fall!!!

Ahh, so many posts to read since I have been busy all day!

Michelle561... wkahjagfda whattt!!! I e-mailed Latisha now but I guess I have to submit an appeal for my Chemistry course now too then... that makes me extremely nervous. I can't believe we're just finding that out now. Also, if we have a Chemistry that is higher than required then I don't see the big deal... ugh. If I don't get in because of that detail, I will be so upset.

On a better note, I'm glad some of your applications have finally been posted / updated. :)

RLL67 I know!!! I can't believe it either I was waiting for u to post lol. Does urs still say pending or incomplete? If mine changes to incomplete tomorrow om going to Latisha personally. This is ridiculous, ill be soooooo mad if we dont get I am due to a technicality on THEM because they told us nothing. I thought Latisha emailed you n and said they decided to accept it. Thats messed up if they just randomly changed their minds...

Haha, aw! Mine still says "pending." :/ What does yours say? I still have the e-mail from Latisha from before saying that it was acceptable... I wouldn't even know about sending an appeal if I hadn't seen your post. I will be ridiculously mad too if our applications are jeopardized over this! At least you already sent your appeal... I guess I have to do that now.

Mine is still pending, I was stalking that page evry second lol. Even though I filed the appeal the lady behind the desk said that it could take up to 2-3weeks to process it -__- I emailed leiland and got no reply. It is what it is... Sigh.... Lol

Michelle561, you just handed the appeal in to the normal location (admissions office), right? I wish there was a way to hand it in to someone more directly associated with the nursing... and be like- here! I have it done! haha. My point is I wonder if they'll even know if I have turned in an appeal or if they'll just deny me... I don't see how they can process an appeal now. I should be studying for Pharmacology but this is driving me crazy!

Yea I turned it in to the regular office. You should call tomorrow and ask of u can do that because I feel the same way like it probably won't be processed in time. Omg I have a pharm test Thursday that Im not ready for and I cant stay focused because of all the stress of this lol. I know I won't be able to study tomorrow while in refreshing every 5mins lol

Yeah, thank you. I'm definitely going to call in the morning when they open. Good luck on your exam!!! Mine is next Tuesday. We have to focus on the things that we can change right now (tonight) and that is learning more Pharmacology! I know it is hard to focus though.
