PBSC Fall 2012 hopefuls

Hi everyone!! I probably am jumping the gun by posting this already but I'm too excited and just can't believe I'm finishing up my last semester of pre reqs for the program. I take my HESI on Feb 16th. Anyway I just wanted to introduce myself and see if anyone has also taken the hesi and what would be the best study guide to get. Here's to hoping for a great fall!!! :D

Since everyones points posted maybe they'll make the cut off decisions, or they might wait until people appeal for that chemistry class? What do you all think?

They said a decision will be made this week. In order for that to happen they would have to go ahead and make the cut-off decisions, or at least begin too. But then again, I'm not sure how the appeal process works. Maybe they'll give people until today to handle any problems with their points and will begin cut-off decisions by tomorrow and we'll have a final decision by Thursday.

The 4th. I emailed them already lol they said this week. But time is running out

I'm sure it won't take much longer for them to post seems like they are working on apps from the 4th.I think they are just going to make decisions. We will know tomorrow or thursday.

I had to file an appeal as well and my app said incomplete too, I went to the limited access office. That is a waste of your life unless you have already been cleared to go there through Latisha. GO SEE LATISHA! She is a huge help and if you have a case she can get them to at least look at your appeal. Bring that email that said it would be fine. Latisha will tell you what to do from there. It is worth a shot. I thought going down there wouldn't work but it did and now my app says complete.
Just to clarify, the Limited access office is not a waste, they are just so busy that unless they are expecting you, they are just not available to talk to you. If you see Latisha she will call them and let know to expect you.

The lady that answered the phone didn't say her name, she just said nursing department. I I filed the appeal today but it can take weeks to process. Latisha said she wasn't aware of the matter and hopes they accept it.. Smh

New to this website... I've been reading the posts and it all seems interesting. Just commenting on Teeramisuus' post about the chem class... My application was pending FOREVERRRR!!! because of the chem class. I took a higher chem and the 1020/1032 chem that is required for the program. They couldn't decide which one they were going to take. I ended up having to do a course re-evaluation for transcripts from a previous school I attended. Just two days ago they finally changed my application to complete. If you go talk to latisha like the other people on here have been saying, your problem may not be fixed immediately, but you will definitely feel better. She is always good at explaining what exactly is going on and if anything needs to be done on your part.

Soooo nervous about this wait. Hopefully good news will be coming within the next week or so!!

when did u first submit your appeal? When did they tell u that u had to appeal it? I emailed latisha right after i submitted the appeal but she didnt seem that helpful. Mine still says pending.. how many points do u have?
