PBSC Fall 2012 hopefuls

Hi everyone!! I probably am jumping the gun by posting this already but I'm too excited and just can't believe I'm finishing up my last semester of pre reqs for the program. I take my HESI on Feb 16th. Anyway I just wanted to introduce myself and see if anyone has also taken the hesi and what would be the best study guide to get. Here's to hoping for a great fall!!! :D

I would still call the office to be sure. If it is the chemistry they should tell you what to do about it. Michelle said they told her to file an appeal, check and see if they tell you the same thing.

So basically to recap, they said sometime this week they should let us know? Because I thought for the limited access programs registration was on the 9th and we still have orientation to go through not to mention the whole background check, physicals, and I'm sure a crap ton of other things, right?

So my points are posted but it says application incomplete.......should it not say that?

Are there any x's or are they all checks and it just says incomplete? If you think its just about the chem problem, I wonder if anyone else with the chem problem had it change from pending to incomplete. I think it is ridiculous that they would make a decision and force you all to appeal the chem, you could have done that weeks ago. I feel like the chem was pending and the appeal was implied.

If you want to get a head start you cN most info for the program is on the nursing handbook. I got my CPR bc I needed it anyway and my vaccines as well only missing the hep c but I plan on getting that where you submit drug test and background check ( that I'm holding off on) got the binder and dividers started my portfolio which is nice to have anyway for records and resume etc. I took pharm last semester so I do nothing but work nights and all day I usually spent studying now I just wait.. :(

Since everyones points posted maybe they'll make the cut off decisions, or they might wait until people appeal for that chemistry class? What do you all think?

Theres an X where it says nursing prereqs met...lol funny thing is, ive emailed them about chem a WHILE ago and they said as long as they have my FAU transcripts its fine....its a higher chemistry too...noones answering the phone..think if i drove back to campus n showed up at the office itd be productive??? Michelle who told u to appeal?

I had to file an appeal as well and my app said incomplete too, I went to the limited access office. That is a waste of your life unless you have already been cleared to go there through Latisha. GO SEE LATISHA! She is a huge help and if you have a case she can get them to at least look at your appeal. Bring that email that said it would be fine. Latisha will tell you what to do from there. It is worth a shot. I thought going down there wouldn't work but it did and now my app says complete.

If you don't live too far and you can go to the campus, I'd go. Especially if they aren't answering the phone. I would have the email handy that you sent them along with the response to the email.
