That just gave me chills. I can't believe anyone could do that. I'm sorry. We brought her home and had a burial. We have 2 1/2 acres, I guess my kids never had to deal with that before. Everyone was busy today and it was some what off there mind so that was good. How was your day. I have my physical tuesday for at least my tetnus and HEP B. Hope your day went well.

hey ladies how is your day!!

I talked to workforce today and I should be getting everything in like two weeks, I am soo excited. I am a little paranoid that my job might not work with me with school, but what can I do.I was a little upset with Copys with they way they were trying to convince me to pick the most expensive items. To me I think that is selfish because other people need that money too, ya know what I mean? I felt bad what I did have to pick out. Anyone know who is hiring at night?

Thunter, sorry to hear about your dog:( That is so sad. I have a Maltese and she is my little baby, I couldnt imagine loosing her so I cant even imagine what you are going through:( Hope all is well, and your family will be in my thoughts.

Thunter I got my Physical too, but my job jabbed with with a few more things like Menactra and took my blood for the titers, so I was sooo sore. My arms are all bruised up lol. Have you done the drug test? Do we need to supply the school with the release form first before we do it?

Hi, I got the middle priced stethoscope and the middle priced shoes. I think workforce will only pay a certain amount. I will let you know, I am going to pick up the voucher for copy's on Wed. Thanks for your condolences. I have two maltese and they just mated, not what I wanted my male is a little horn dog. He is 8 lbs 1 year and my female is 3 1/2 lbs two years. I go tomorrow for my physical and 2 shots I might do the titers at their place they are cheaper. As far the drug screen, I think as long as you provide the copies of the lab work it might be ok but reread the letter. It is not clear.

Congrats to all of you that got in!! For the ones that got excepted into Belle Glade, I heard the teachers out there are GREAT! I ran into one of my friends that I was going to school with and she said she went to Lake Worth for her first semester of nursing and then switched to belle glade because of the smaller classes and the teachers are better. And the more and more I keep reading your posts Thunter, I am pretty sure I am working with your daughter. Because she tells me everything you post. Its a small world! :nuke:

No I didnt make it in =( You had to have at least 25.4 points and I had 23.93. And the worst part is is that I originally planned to go to Belle Glade but then changed my mind at admissions lol. Oh well, I should get in for sure for Fall in Belle Glade with those points, hopefully! Did you get accepted?

hey everyone else, hows the day going? mine is dragging...im working and writing a paper at the same time(dont tell the boss). my online class just started an boy oo boy thease classes are a handful. i'm taking Philosophy and Comp. 3. i had no other choice but to take them online. can i yell this I HATE ONLINE CLASSES!!!!!!!!!

i dont know who came up with the concept on online teaching...(excuse me im so old school i believe in face to face learning) . i did a poll on students who took online classes and 82% of them said they didnt learn as much as if the subject was taught by a person. 8% of them said they learnt nothing at all, and the rest actually benefited (10%).

what do you think about online classes?? where would you rank in my research?

philosophy online is ridiculous! My husband was taking it and dropped it because the professor was more concerned with how he threaded instead of the content of the post. If he wanted to reply to other students posts he would also get a deduction in points. I agree with you with online classes. Some also assign so much work its almost easier to take them face to face.

dont remind me lsmith , i have to make these stupid comments on students work otherwise i get points taken off and the comments has to be meaningfull. you cant write like " great job or nice post" . drives me nuts.

this is the question im working on now:

look at the want ads in your local newspaper, college paper, on television, or ads found on bulletin boards. select one ad to focus on.

after reading this ad carefully, you can see it aims to persuade the reader to do something. who is being appealed to, and what is that person supposed to be persuaded to do? what is the specific appeal the ad presents to the reader, and what, if any, are the drawbacks you can see?

Hi,

Yes you do work with my daughter, she came home last night and told me the same story you just wrote about. Sorry you didn't get in, but I will look forward to meeting you next semester. She said you were taking Pharm with Demarco, I was going to take that class and then decided to take Alexander online because of the schedule. That is good you are getting it out of the way. Did your friend say anything about Demarco or ALexander if she liked them or if that is who she had.
