PBCC-palm beach comm. college

Published

Hi everyone,

I'm in the process of study for the nurse Procalc and the NLN entrance exam for PBCC fall nursing program.

I read on line that this school works on a point system

I was wondering if anyone who has been accepted to the program

(past/Present) student: HOW MANY POINTS DID YOU HAVE TO

WHEN ACCEPTED TO THE PROGRAM.

Anyone with info about the program, would be helpful.

Thanks

I am studying for pharm 2, I got my micro out of the way so the next 4 days its pharm and me!!! I am happy to say I did well on the first case study.. I was so worried because I had never done 1 of those before. Please let me know if there is anyway I can try to help you with pharm

Oh yeah we got a case study we have to do on hypertension. I believe the answers are right out of the book. The last case study she gave us was on morphine and I got a 95. the answers were in the book. I wish i could do that well on my tests.

well thats great that should count towards your grade, shouldnt it? wouldnt that be nice LOL, my case study was with a pt. with MS and there were 2 questions and we had to give 2 references. The second case study is on Premarin havent done it yet! Have you started the paper yet?

No, it shouldnt be that hard. She gave us 9 questions to do on a 64yr old pt with hypertension who smokes. My papers won't count until I get a 75% average on the test. Bummer!!!

Pharm. Students:

I will be hopefully taking pharm. next semester and I was wondering who you suggest(if I can pick a teach).

Thanks!

i just started micro last week, anyone has any notes they would love to share with me please. any tips would be great also. i have DR. Coffman he's very funny but i will still need to pass his exams. thanks ahead of time.

2bnurse:

I had a diff. teacher for micro and that was 2 years ago. So I don't think I could help you much.

Smallz,

I have Marshall at lake worth. I like her but the test are tuff and its a lot of studying. I sure it's the same for anyone you take. I will probably have to take the class again next semester and I am undecided who I am going to take if I need to. I think they all go by the same guide lines and the picken's are slim either 2 or 3 teachers. Don't think that helped much.

Sorry

I had a teacher out in Bellglade Prof Liang. Im not sure his notes will help.

Ok I am getting tired of the waiting game. I think the school has had enough time to send out emails already. It's killing me not knowing. :hdvwl:

thunter98 and all those who are waiting,

I know how you feel. I have been trying not to check my email more than 5 times a day because for some reason I think we are all going to find out late next week. It doesn't sound like they are in a hurry.HeHeHe!!!

I am taking alexander online-she is ok-not to many teachers 2 choose from, she doesnt really answer your questions, gives you off the wall answers, pretty much on your own, grades you have to wait at least a week for. Overall, I am ok with her
