Patients safety attendant sitter

Published

I have a question. I am going to start a new job of patient safety attendant sitter in a hospital and I would like to know what they do or your experience of this job. I'm nervous because it will be my first time working with patient and hospital.

No one has been rude - just because we don't know how your facility works and therefore can't give detailed answers does not make those people "rude."

I certainly hope you aren't posting under your real name or this thread could come back to haunt you.

The first few Google hits on Alina Chavez are for a DUI accident in Florida.

And I also agree, I have not seen any rude responses, just ones stating fact.

I could say you come in the employee entrance and clock in at the timeclock by the rear elevators, then go to the staff elevators and go to the 5th floor and go see the OA and get your patient assignment.

That answer tells you nothing about your job though. As said, you will find out everything at your orientation, but if you want more info before then, go talk to HR or someone who works there.
