Patient Experience, patient centered care

Hello! I am an ER Nurse in Arizona and I have just completed my BSN. I am very excited about new opportunities that will open for me as a brand-new BSN. I have been an RN for about 3 years. I would like to move from ER nursing into a new role that specifically focuses on patient experience and patient centered care, but I am not sure how to get from HERE to THERE! Do Case Management nurses use Measurevention? What is measurevention and how do I get experience using that tool?

As far as I can determine, it's not a capital-letter Tool, but a process of monitoring and followup in high-risk conditions. Is there a QA/QI department in your hospital or local hospital chain? Looks like a good place to start. Find out who is doing research on QA/QI for a particular clinical entity (VTE is cited often re measurevention if you do an online search of the term) or would like to.
