PASSING NLN pre- exam for LPN

Hi Everyone,

I have recently signed up for the NLN pre- examination for LPN. I got this practice book and on the test. I get about 5-8 wrong within in each category (math, science, reading, etc.).

Each category has 40 questions. Is that good or do I need to studying harder? Also my GPA is a 3.3 with 3 classes so far.

I don't know her name. No she didn't tell me. She just told me it is based on top score.

Yes I am trying for nctc. Who was your proctor? When I asked what scored did we need to get to get in they would not tell me . Did they tell you

Hi, I started a post on the Online LVN program for January 2014. One of the students called the school and this is what she said..."She told me to add math and verbal and that's the score. I logged into nlnonlinetesting". When you log into the NLN website, at the top of the page you will see Interpretation Guide for PN-PAX. Use the total score from math & reading to see what percentile you scored on the test. Good Luck!!!

From my downloaded results will I be able to tell if i passed or not? the proctor said we could download, but we wouldn't be able to tell what our score was. will another version of results come in the mail that lists a composite score and such that I'm seeing a lot of on these posts?

Yes another version will be emailed to you. I can't remember if you receive a post office letter though. But call the Program Coordinator with your score results and they will let you know if you passed or possibly how you ranked on an average score. I wish you the best of luck!

hello - i wanted to know how did the exam go....

ive read alot of places that there was alot of physics on it. is this true?

​I sounds to me that the NLN book helped you out a lot. I have that book also and have been studying it from beginning to end. I take the test on this Monday coming. Would you say the practice test are close to the real thing? Thanks!
