Passing the ANCC- PMHNP exam.. Please HELP.

Hi everyone,

I created this account so I can ask for some help. I just took the Pyshciatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner exam and did not pass... I am so devastated.. It seems like all my classmates have passed that have taken it so far. :( I studies from the ANCC review book and bought the ANCC review questions from anccprep.com I bought 5 sets (each set had 100 questions). I want to retake the test soon as possible (have to wait 60 days), can anyone advice me on how they studied, their tips on the exam, and any advice. I had a hard time on the Quality Improvement, community nursing types of questions.

Barkley review here. Wasn helpful. Few to none of my questions were clinically relevant. The anccprep.com was crap too. ANCC sells some tests. Those were more relevant. I passed first try. Wasn't sure I would because I don't know or care about nurse management theory.

Thank you for that information. Yes there were so many nurse management questions. How do I buy the ANCC test? I thought the review question I bought from anccprep were the ancc test? I went on the ANCC website but do not see any test to buy? I saw the free questions? Please let me know where I can buy those questions. Thank You

Where do you find the ANCC test questions for purchase? I looked on the ANCC and didn't see anything. Also, where do we buy the ANCC study guide? I saw some study guides on the ANCC website, but how do I know which is the right manual to buy? It's not clearly stated.

Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Sample Questions

I haven't taken the test yet, but I found Barkley not to be helpful. My advisor mentioned fitzgerald review, but I don't want to spend the money on another full review course.

I may try exam edge or board vitals, I just don't know which one is better.

Just buy the ANCC book and online review questions. It'll be a snap. Use your test taking skills
