Transitions was mainly memorization. Focus on the areas with the highest percentage based on your content guide. Some of the legal terms may seem familiar. Also know your theorists and how they contributed to nursing. I used studygroup 101 for this exam and it was on point. If you have any other questions you can PM me or post. :)

Hi Jennifer27, I just passed health safety today and am now onto transition.. How long did it take you to prepare for this exam? I studied 10 days for health and safety, but am wondering how long I should study for transitions... Congratulations on passing and thank you in advance :)

Hi buckshot! CONGRATULATIONS on your pass!!! Transitions was mainly memorization. It's a very dry subject so I studied off and on. Roughly I committed 36 hours of study time combined to this exam. I know I rescheduled it twice because I wasn't satisfied with my practice scores. I used studygroup 101 and it was very helpful. What did you use for health safety? I am currently preparing for LS1 and LS3 will be next.

Thank you! :) I have heard that transitions is pretty dry from a few people.... I had studygroup 101 for health safety, practice exams, and the recommended text books. I used the practice exams the most though; just went through all of the rationales and everything, it was SO helpful! Good luck to you!

I am a Florida paramedic and passed the transitions exam today with a B! It was my first EC exam and I am happy to finally have one under my belt. Please let me know if you have any advice for the Health Safety exam. I will be reading the SG101 notes and Rue material. My goal is to take an exam every 3-4 weeks so that I can finish before my second baby is born (October). My wife will need all the help I can give her since the first one is still in diapers. :

Medic1403 I also have the Rue material. I purchased what I though was the entire study lot for all of the nursing courses and some gen eds. I can not find anything for Health Safety. Did you have a textbook and study guide for Health Safety through Rue or was it the reading from thief Fundamentals textbook? Thank you in advance for your time!!
