Passed at 85

I PASSED NCLEX PN!! When I left the test center on Wednesday morning, they told me to check Friday after 9pm. I woke up, checked anyway with it being after 8am (the time i checked in). There wasnt any fanfare. There it was..written in all lowercase letters: pass. I couldnt believe it, Im still shaking.

My ordeal was sickening after I took the test which was why I didnt come on here to say I tested. The stress was unbearable for me. But praise God, it's OVER!!!!!!

This is how the test was for me. It took me about 2 hours. I flopped on the first question because I changed it, the last question was very hard. I think I got it wrong. The math was minimal and simple maybe 4 , sata 3 or 4, alot of priority, pharm- not too much, infection control and safety. The pharm, one of them, i know i got wrong. To be honest, I was soooo shocked when the thing shutoff so I dont remember much. I have been in a sick daze for 2 days straight.

I cannot believe I have my life back. I honestly cant believe it. I spoke to noone but family during this time ..huge sigh. Thank God! Let me say, I prayed and I asked God to not let me have much math and I didnt. I was aware of this while testing. Im not saying this is a "thing" that will work but im saying my prayers have been answered all around.

Although Pearson has my unofficial results as pass, the BON doesnt have my name listed yet. I have been trying to call them. This is probably cuz I just took my fingerprints a week ago. But YAY for me, I worked so hard, studied like forever. I used Saunders this was the only book I used their questions reliably each and everyday, ExamCram (the big book not the smaller yellow/black one) was really great, Lippincott, some mosby, Learningext ( didnt do the whole thing) and Kaplan qbank (they were ok). Let me say though, I feel that nothing could have prepared me for that exam. I felt like it was out of left field totally. I began studying in March at least 100-200 questions a day, read alot, I literally had no life. Also I have been out of school for exactly a year.

To those that still need to test, make sure you understand your stuff because that is what it comes down to. On each question, I picked an answer but then I asked myself why was this answer correct and what made it different from the other answers. I didnt do this while studying but did during the test. I rarely studied in anything but study mode and read every rationale. Good luck to those of you still waiting.

Time to celebrate FINALLY!!!

(even though I didnt post that I tested, I found this site to be quite a comfort and which is why Im sharing my experience with you.)
