PASSED NCLEX RN with 265 questions

Published

WOW!!! The best feeling ever... took my exam on 15 oct 2014 and passed with 265... All glory and honour to my God.. i am a foreign nurse and did not know how to begin... my husband has been a great support, he was always positive.. by 120-130 questions i was drained out but thanks to God i did it... i only thought it was better to pass with 265 than to fail with 75..... i got 35 sata, 2 order, 2 ecg, 2 picture...

i used saunders 6th edition, PDA, Kaplan question trainers, Hurst lectures and 35 page content...

if u need any suggestions, feel free to ask i will be haapy to help u...

ABOVE ALL, PRAYERS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL... pray as if u never studied and study as if u never prayed.....

congrats on your success. I will be taking mines in a few days and feeling very nervous. How were the drag and drop? how did you figure them out? I always do BAD on those no matter how much i practice. Do you think kaplan trainers helped? ive been using kaplan lately and did all the trainers and sample exams. I just dont wanna do all this studying and questions and then find them totally different from what they ask on NCLEX..

congrats RN!!!!:) can i just ask how Youd answered your ECG question? thank you! :)

Hey xaldin4life, drag n drop we're not tough.. It was eye instillation n how to remove a picc... Don't rush into conclusions, u take time n after arranging it check out and see if it is right..... U will not get the questions as it is the way u studied... It's different but u learn how to eliminate and select the best answer... I was bad at Sata but god helped me..... Just focus and u will be fine.. My prayers r with u....

xaldin4life, thank u. Focus on the question and put them in order... read procedures and after u attempt it make sure u read and see that it is right.... dont worry u dont get much drag n drop questions... take ur own time and take breaks in between n relax... dont rush, as i said its better to pass in 265 than fail in 75... Pray n relax on the day of ur exam... u will do well...

thank u cslusrn2014, i read the ecg from saunders... just fixed it to my mind.... and also read what is the treatment for each ecg changes.. for example vt, vfib, etc what will the nurse do first.... God be with u...

thank you, both of you! I will continue practicing and plan to take the exam for the third and last time!!

congrats! youve come such a long way. you and your husband should be very proud of your accomplishments =)
