how i passed nclex rn with kaplan

Indeed 3rd time is a charm.. I graduated with BSN from a foreign university, came to the US with the hopes of conquering the NCLEX RN on the first try. Well it didn't go as i hoped, I challenged the nclex RN for the first time in august of 2010. I used Feuer nursing review which was not helpful at all, I failed with 75q, then 45days later I took it again, this time I used nclex 4000 and saunders, (this time i was in a rush to get it over with)unfortunately I failed again with 75q.. Then I decided to restrategize. I decided to go with the advice of 2 of my friends who both used kaplan.. I attended feuer review with them and all three of us failed with 75q on the first try. They both decided to use kaplan and lo and behold, they passed with 75q. This gingered my spirit which encouraged me to go the kaplan route. anyway i used the kaplan on demand review and guess what!..IT WORKED.. I passed with 75q..

Other study materials I used were la charity, all nurses mmeumonics, and saunders..

my advise to anyone reading this, if i can pass you too can pass.. "with God all things are possible"

Congrats to you!!! Third time is a charm!How did you score in Kaplan? And how would you compare Kaplan vs NCLEX? I heard so many things.... I take NCLEX on Tuesday 5 days away I super nervous my scores on Kaplan are all over the place Diagnostic test: 68%Qt1: 60%Qt2: 64%Qt3: 58%Qt4: 58%Qt5: 53% qt6: 74.5%

Readiness test:60%

Qbank with 69% done:61%

At this point I'm just a nervous wreck! Lol

Hi is Kaplan on-demand more on qts exercise? content learning or test taking strategies?

thanks guys!!!! @ Dubs2012, your scores seem fine to me. my qt scores were in the 50s, low and mid 50s, i was so dissapointed at my q7 because i scored a 53. anyway the bottom line is that you shouldnt let your scores discourage you. The most important thing is that you go over every question whether you got it right or not. i got 61 on qT2 and 60 on qT4. I wanted to rescedule but i left everything to God. i think you should go test. Goodluck!

@Killerbee kaplan on demands has contents and test taking strategies and a lot practice questions. Go for it
