Passed Nclex with 75 Questions

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hello everyone! So I am writing this because this website helped me a lot after taking NCLEX. So, I told myself that if I passed, I would write something to help other people!!

So, I passed with 75 questions. I wanted to have more than 75 questions because I still wanted to "be in the game," so when the 75th question appeared... I was like "I want a few more questions," but nope it shut off. I left upset asking myself "did I do that bad, that it ended at 75 questions?" I came home to my husband and told him "I failed; it stopped at 75 questions" and also told him "let me just pay for the new test and get it over with... I'll go to the library after paying for the exam." My husband is amazing and lets me do whatever, so he said "okay, pay for whatever you need." I logged in and wanted to pay for NCLEX again... but it didn't let me!!! I was like oh my goodness, is this the "good pop up..." Sure enough it was! I checked 24 hours later and the "good pop up" was still appearing... I ended up passing!!!

What I used to study: UWORLD, Saunders, and Prioritization, delegation, & assignment by LaCharity! They were all amazing!!

I did all the questions on UWORLD... took notes and did the 2 assessments that they offered.

On Saunders, I only read and took some notes on topics that I had a while ago in nursing school... which were Fundamentals, OB, and PEDS.

Finally I did only a few chapters on LaCharity... I did the chapter that focuses on contact, droplet, and airborne precautions. I also did all OB and PEDS and a few here and there just to test my knowledge.

Good luck to everyone! I hope this helps.

Congrats! I felt the same way while I was testing. When it shut off after the 75th question I wanted to ball my eyes out. I wanted more questions!!!!! I wasn't 100% sure on a lot of them. I did the PVT as soon as I got to my car and got the good pop up! This was my 2nd attempt. This time, I did the HURST Review, and about 1100 Uworld questions.
