Wow! Congrats! My stomach gets knots when I think of taking the exam!
I felt the same way...I would be on the brink of an anxiety attack just from talking about it...Thanks to my last minute studying and a 2 minute prayer just before I clicked the start button on my test, I was cool as a cucumber...but if you just try to relax yourself and DON'T OVERTHINK the questions, then you'll be just fine.
I've been hearing about the "new" changes to the Nclex-Pn in April 2011, so I was anxious to get a test date on or before March 31...make a long story short, I took my exam on 4/12/2011...and let me tell you I was so nervous...I just knew in my head that I failed because I was bored, irritated, not focused, sleepy, AND hungry while I was taking the exam, so I was kinda rushing through the questions...AND ON TOP OF THAT...the computer made me take ALL 205 questions...lol.
After the exam I was sort of discouraged, and one of my classmates told me to do the Pearson Trick to find out about my score...So the next day, 4/13/2011, I went to my state board of nursing website and looked up my name, and to my surprise, my license was ACTIVE...YAY
...and today, I received my license in the mail. (fists pumps)...lol
From what I can remember, the majority of my questions were about:
Prioritizing
Very few calculations
Delagating
Safety
Patient Teaching
****Oh Yeah...I didn't study until the day before the exam****
Next stop...RN School
