Passed the NCLEX-PN 85 Questions!!!

Nursing Students NCLEX

Hello,

I sat for the NCLEX-PN yesterday at 8 a.m. and passed after answering 85 questions. I had 0 math, approximately 10 SATA, 2 drag and drop and the rest multiple choice. The questions were scary easy, I thought I wasn't doing well. After the 85th question the blue screen popped up. I took a break and came back only to find out that my test had indeed ended and was being asked to do the survey.

Hours later I did the Pearson Vue Trick and got the good pop up. I used a credit card that was valid and only had $1.00 on it. Today, I went on the BON website to look up my name, it was not there. I then checked my application status and got a pop up that showed Congratulations! Your application has been approved. It also gave me the option to print my confirmation license that showed my license #. My hard copy should come in the mail.

I used Sauder's (Red Book) and Exam Cram (blue book) to study. For those who are struggling to pass, my advice is to study well. Don't try to consume all the information at one time. One day I would study the Respiratory system, the next day I would study the Endocrine system. I watched YT videos to mix it up. I also took breaks....long breaks like 2 days. I switched up my study area, some days I would go to the library, other days I would sit in my car (no joke). Go into the test well prepared and take one question at a time. Eliminate the obvious wrong answer(s) and know what your UL person can and cannot do. I know I missed 2 obvious questions yesterday. I really beat myself up. I came out of the test thinking I did not pass it and how easy the test really was.

The SATA questions didn't bother me one bit. You will do just fine on those. As a matter of fact, I thought the SATA questions were much easier than the multiple choice.

My next steps are to find a position and get information on RN schools.

Congratulations!
