those who PASSED nclex- Content Areas

Ok so I failed the nclex but with my letter I got a paper that said Content areas.

It had 9 Areas- Pharm, Psych, Basic Care, Physiological, Saftey, Health, Reduction of Risk, Coordinated care.

And it said for each one if I was NEAR PASSING, ABOVE PASSING, or BELOW PASSING.

So my question is to those who passed. Did you have to be above passing in each area?

Were you below in any? or Near? This will give me a good idea of things.

Also for those who passed there second time, what did you do your second time differently then your first?

snowbunnylife...congrats!! How did you study this time?? I might be taking Nclex for the second time. Although I haven't received my letter from the mail yet, I'm assuming that I failed because it's been 3 weeks already. Can you please let me know how did you study. I really want to pass next time I take it. Thanks

I didn't do suzannes plan or whatever because she said I wouldn't have time to complete it bc it would take around 2 and a half months, well I didn't have that long to wait and study. I did Learningext.com at NCSBN and these are the guys who write the real NCLEX. I am telling you that I owe my passing to them! The Q&B was so much like the nclex from anything I have seen, and the Content Reviews got straight to the point of everything you need to know. I studied this for 3 weeks for 50 bucks- and I passed with 85 questions in a hour and a half- I thought this was great considering I didn't do that good on the first one. Good luck!!!!
