Members are discussing the timeline for their names to appear on the CNA registry after passing the exam, with responses varying from a week to two months. Some members have received their certification cards quickly, while others are experiencing delays and frustration with the process. Questions about job applications and how to indicate certifications on professional documents are also raised.
I took the test Saturday and got my confirmation that same day. How long does it take for my name to show on the registry? I'm ready to get a job!! ?
Grrr... I passed the test with a 98 two months ago and I'm still not on the registry! I've faxed a copy of my social security card three times, and they either lose it or it doesn't come through. I can't start at the hospital until I'm on the registry and as it stands, I could lose my position there if it doesn't come soon.
I hope the Maine CNA Registry gets its act together!

I'm a Certified Caregiver i passed the NC II certification exam .My question is pretty simple. When writing my name on professional documents, how do I indicate the Caregiver title? do i need to put CCG or HHA on my last name like Marlon Y. Burgos ,CCG ... like you guys as CNA's . you guys put a CNA after your names right? so do u think i'm allowed to put CCG after my name too ? thank you for your response ....
In Oregon, I could see on the testing center's website whether or not I had passed after 5pm the day I tested. My name was listed on Oregon's registry less than 24 hours later.
Slightly different scenario... I had my Oregon CNA1 license reciprocated in Washington and that process took over three months.
