I have applied already...anyone else?

yes. I ordered 2 sets of uniforms from dove. Oh I should go online and find one...Do we need shoes right away? And jofapcastillo, have you registered? I've registered automatically, so I just have made the payment today...So, I've registered all but one subject. Nursing 50S...I don't know why it is not on the list of my registration...Any way, I think I am almost done with the checklist except shoes and books...i am still don't know I should buy the pricey bundle package....[/quote']

Yeah Ive registered and paid 500+ bucks..now Im broke!!!! Lol. Im almost done with the checklist that we need to turn in before Jan 7th. Im just waiting for my CPR card from work.

Hello guys! Have you ordered ATI's testing system? The brochure I've got from the orientation says, "Your class has been set up to use ATI's new online payment system......Until the payment is made, the system will not allow you to take any tests." So I bought this for $173.90, and today, I've got a box from ATI and it's full of many books. I am so confused...Do we have to buy this every sememester? BTW, good luck to those who are waiting for the acceptance from PCC. I hope we will see on Jan. 13. lol ^^[/quote']

ATI... You only get the books once. You pay $173 the first semester and every other semester you pay $125. It's kind of lame because we had to pay by December 8th or have a $35 late fee, but our final wasn't until the 11th and a few people didn't make it. I personally hate ATI as a company and have nothing nice to say. They're a rip-off and and insult.

Also, we will be using some sort of electronic charting something-or-other... That's new to the whole school and I guess it's super expensive...

Wait what? U just registered? And how come u didnt register for N50S? You need to take that this coming semester. Its not on your list? I dont get it..

Your clinical instructor will be the same as your seminar instructor... If you've picked different ones, they will go based on your clinical instructor so seminar isn't too important to register for if you're having time conflict issues...

Hmmm. I registered anyway not sure if I have the same instructor. And I paid for a 1 unit class (N50S)

Yeah everyone who registered for a different clinical and seminar instructor had to switch. So if you registered for Professor X for clinical and Professor Y for seminar you will have to switch to Professor X for both.

Oh shoot! I have different instructors for clinicals and seminar. How can Fix it? Or they fix it on the first day of class? Please advise :(

Yeah if you don't have a chance to change it before class starts, they'll give you an add code on the first day. Oh and bring a jacket/blanket... Those classrooms get super cold!

Where did u buy the parking? And where did u buy the books? Im thinking of getting some of them on amazon since its cheaper and its brand new.

Oh gosh! Why not automatic enrolled to the same instructor...yayks! Any advises before I start my first sem? How to survive and stuff?

I know...why they do not make it simple for us? Now I am trying to register matching clinical and seminar. But the system still has time conflict between a seminar class and pharmacology...very tired. They say they are trying to fix it...(sigh)...Anyway, the bookstore still doesn't have the package, and I don't know I should buy the package...I ordered pharmacology books from amazon since those are not in the package...I feel so exausted because of getting a seminar section at the registration...I hope they fix it asap...

Hi melowetta. I have a question, whats in the package that we need to buy from the bookstore? What books can we buy from online (like amazon)???

Also, when are u turning in your packet? Or have u turned it in already?

Hi, Jofapcastillo. I haven't turned in the packet yet. I will do next year...^^ Maybe Jan. 3 or 4? And according to the Pearson packet that we got from the orientation, all things but pharmacology books are included. So I guess we can buy pharmacology books(three) from amazon. But I am not sure about dosage calculations because it says like (W/bind-in access). After I check whether the book is same as the one in amazon, I mean, if the bind-in access means the CD-ROM inside, I would buy it from amazon as well. I need to check it first at the bookstore. I already ordered other 2 pharmacology books like pharmacology and pharmacology study guide. And Nursing 137 (REV.SPR'14) is like a syllabus, so we need to buy it at the bookstore only. Other than that, I think we need to buy the package which includes other textbooks and mynursinglab 24month access codes. And we also need to buy RealEHRprep with Cerner at the bookstore...right? oh mine...I wonder when the bookstore has the package...I should call now...bye.
