Apparently, they only send acceptance/alternate emails this early. The rejection letters are sent later. So, hopefully, we get to be in the first batch :)

I was already accepted to Rio Hondo, but I'd rather get into Pasadena. It sucks that it's based off of lottery. The counselor told me that there are 600 applicants, and out of the most qualified only 60 are chosen. I wonder if these 60 also include LVN-RN.

Congrats! Was it through your PCC email or an alternate one that you put in your application?
Congrats on your acceptance. It must be a huge relief. Hopefully, they will start sending emails for the generic RN program soon.
You should link your PCC email to your personal email so that you get all the emails from the PCC account to your personal email account. That way you don't have to stress out about what email to check :-). That's what I did. There is an option in the settings.
Thanks! I had no idea you could do that!!
Yay! Congratulations! :)
Hoping the generic program ones go out next week. But it is good news to hear that they are sending out e-mails already!
I got the e-mail through my personal e-mail. I've never attended PCC so I wasn't even aware of the PCC e-mail. I received a phone call from PCC the other day asking me to submit my teas test score. I'd asked at that time if they'd made a selection yet and they told me they hadn't. I was told that they were just informing all eligible candidates that have not submitted teas test scores to send them in. And yes, it is definitely a huge sigh of relief, and mixed feelings of excitement and nervousness! I haven't been in nursing school since I did my LVN at Citrus College and I recall how stressful it was. Again, good luck to you guys still waiting to hear from PCC or any other schools you've applied to, and most importantly, don't lose hope! :)

Just an FYI, I stopped in the main office on Thursday to update my email address on my application. The gentleman that helped me said that emails would probably go out second week of May. So, next week may be a bit early. But hoping for everyone it is earlier than that!
