Hi,

I've heard that it's not recommended to work while enrolled as a student in an RN program. I'm applying for the Spring Semester at PCC and while I do intend to leave my current employer should I be accepted, I was wondering if there were people who made the attempt to work part-time or possibly in the summer.

Any opinions?

have you registered to take the o chem for fall or for spring? You need your pre reqs done for CSUSB by the end of spring 2012 to apply for fall 2012 in Jan. I am like 99.9% sure on that. That is why people find out ao late about whether they get accepted or not.

I couldn't get it for fall semester. I'll try to get it hopefully next spring semester...depending if I get in the community college programs. I definitely wouldn't take ochem along with the nursing program! So it's okay to apply for fall 2012 even if I won't be done with the prereqs by summer time next year after spring? i thought applications had to be in early in the year for the program..

For the people that got accepted for the Fall 2011 term, is it taking forever for the uniforms to ship?

I placed my order about 10 days ago from the website that they gave us, but it still hasnt shipped yet. A few days after I ordered they said some items are backordered so they will ship my whole package after the items are in stock. The cost is pretty ridiculous also..about $100 for a set of scrubs.

Yah they take awhile but once they ship it, you'll get it within 2-3 business days because they use UPS and charge us a fortune :(

I got mine last week, they were on backorder too...

They scrubs run big, so I hope your sizes are OK... I kinda regret getting two sets now...

We don't need to wear them on the first day right?

Have you gotten everything else yet??

Yes I am nervous yet excited at the same time for the start of school.

I'm not sure if we need to wear the scrubs on the 1st day, but I doubt it, so I probably wont.

As for getting two sets of scrubs, I would've done the same if it wasnt $100/set. Most likely I'll get another set after the 1st semester. I'm thinking one might not be enough since lab is probably gonna be more than 1 day/week, so having a 2nd set would come in handy for sure.

I got most of the required books and thats about it haha. I dunno what else we would need. Still need to shop for some more school supplies though. Hopefully there wont be a lot of expensive mandatory things that we need to get for labs.

I am applying for the S2012 semester and I'm unsure what the college wants in regards to the "Official US high school transcript from one of the college's acceptable companies". What company is that? Would I just go to my HS to the office and ask for a copy??? Any suggestions would be appreciated...the deadline is coming up and I want to get this done!! =) Thanks in advance!!

How do we turn in our application? I already have my transcripts and nursing application..I just need to turn it in. Is it supposed to be in a folder? Who do we turn them in to?

I turned mine in and haven't even gotten confirmation that they received it. Ugh

so I guess we wait. When do we hear accept/denial?
