Nope, no acceptance letter yet...they said it would be 10-12 weeks and 12 weeks have just ended. Hopefully on Monday they will start sending them.
Just spoke with someone from the Nursing Dept. today. They said they haven't yet started sending out acceptance/denial letters yet. So I guess we have to continue to check out e-mail. Keep me updated and I'll do that same.

Hey i am applying there this upcoming spring...i am really scared because of the ADN programs in SOCAL are extremely hard to get into and so i was wondering (yours and anyone else who applied to PCC, CA) what your pre-req GPA.
Thanks
Prerequisite GPA = 4.0, overall GPA = 3.9. Hope that helps. Supposedly they are sending the notifications out this week.
wow man i suck because my GPA dropped below a 3.0 (i was an engineering major)
now i have 3 last pre-reqs that i know i can A's in (because i have only those classes and i am taking them slowly) and even if i get A's plus my B in english...i wont get in...pretty depressing...
You've still got time. I'm not sure they are basing all enrollment on GPA alone. If you do well in you pre-reqs (especially your English A cause they look highly at this grace) then you have a chance. My GPA is something like 2.8, but I've got an A in English and B's in all Science classes. I would hope they would'nt base enrollment on GPA alone. They have to consider history as well, consistency of enrollment, and prior or already achieved degrees.....

I called PCC today, and the lady told me that we have to wait for 3 more weeks!! This is absurd. Knowing that some students are in the process of making decisions about other schools, how can they expect us to wait an additional 3 weeks?

Yes, I know it's frustrating ... PCC seems to be the last school to notify students of acceptance! But hang on and don't give up.... when I was accepted, I think it was during the first week of June. Some students had accepted at other schools they applied for and then switched to PCC, unfortunately, they paid some of the fees at the other schools which they couldn't get refunded. So if you have accepted at another school, try to hold off on paying fees as long as possible...that is; if you PCC is your first choice.
Thank you so much for the encouragement! Yes, I will hang on, and hope for the best!
That is a very good point. Some student will no longer want to wait and they will go ahead and go to another school they applied to. More open spaces. So basically what it boils down to is.... WERE ALL GETTING ACCEPTED!!! :):):)
hopefully...
