I will apply as well this term.

Any Reply back from Pasadena?

@cdj0610 congrats!!! You already did your TEAS? Or you are taking the exam next week? I'm a little confused. I wonder if people who got accepted haven't take. The teas yet?

Thank you YeseniaSoriano! I have not taken my TEAS yet, I will be taking it Tuesday. It wasn't a requirement to turn in an application, but it is a requirement to start the nursing program on time.

I have already taken the teas...I guess if you guys are taking it this week..good luck.

Oh ok. Well good luck! That's means that people who have been accepted still haven't taken the exam so if they don't pass they move on to alternates.

i glad I got that test out of the way

Do you guys know who many alternates they accept?

Specializes in ER, case management.

Im an alternate too! Not too happy about it as I was hoping to start ASAP...

I think there were so many applicants they chose their 20 and the rest were either alternates or disqualified.

I don't think it was fair to those who submitted their applications complete and on time during the application period, from June 1st to July 1st. Clearly, the dates were stated online in black bold lettering. Not sure how students can say they didn't see it. People need to pay attention to detail. I think that pushes back those who did apply on time further out causing most of us to become alternates.

I don't think there's a chance for me to get in considering there's so many alternates on the list, especially if October 24th is the deadline to get accepted.
