I was wondering if anyone applied there. I also applied to:
CSUEB
Los Angeles Pierce
Los Angeles Valley (once their apps open on April 11th maybe)
LA county Allied health
COC (I really doubt I get in because I did 2 attempts on the teas)
Glendale Community college
STATS:
OVERALL SCIENCE GPA (3.33)
OVERALL GPA (3.56)
TEAS VI: 72.7%
I know it's early, but I want an early start. I just need to get into a nursing program before my pre-req expire :/ My best bet so far for me is Allied health, GCC, Pasadena, and maybe Pierce
Anyone receive a confirmation email or something letting them know their application was received? All the programs that I have applied to have informed me besides PCC. I'm not sure if they even do confirmations?
I haven't heard anything from COC, LAPC, LA ALLIED HEALTH, nor Pasadena. I got invited to take the teas for Glendale but I'm emailing my teas score tho.
Well that's not good. My scores aren't even that high in comparison to the ones you mentioned... :/Good luck everyone! I started the program this semester.I'm not sure of the average points, but almost everyone who was accepted already has a bachelors degree or scored 90% or higher on the teas.
They will send out acceptance, alternate, and decline letters. If you are an alternate, you will not know where you fall on the list. I believe some people got in a month before the program started.
So far everything is great! The teachers are all nice and knowledgeable.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Hello All,
I am glad I found this discussion board. Does anyone knows if the acceptance is strictly based on point system, or point system plus a Lottery ( for the students who got same point scores?).. I got accepted to ABSN program at MSMU which starts on Monday. I am really do not want to go, but I do not want to reject them and than have no other options. If I calculated my point correctly, I should have approximetly 85... I dont know what to do...:/
PCC is strictly point based now. There's no lottery anymore. I believe the point based system went into effect in Spring 2015.Hello All,I am glad I found this discussion board. No they don't. They'll email you an acceptance letter 10 weeks after the app deadline. I'm guessing it's May 1st.
