Pasadena City College ADN Program Fall 2022

Hello, I just wanted to start a thread for those who are applying to PCC's ADN program. Fall 2022 applications open up on April 1st so I hope we can use this page to support and guide each other! 

I will be applying with either 87 or 92 points depending on if they accept my license/certification. This is my first time applying and frankly the only school I'm really looking at so I hope I get in! 

Nope. They did say it would take 6-8 weeks from April, so it could be anywhere from now to 3 weeks.

Nothing yet! But I am waiting to see PCC or Long Beach since I did get in there . Best wishes!

What are you guys points ? I heard is very high 95-100

Is it lottery ?

I was accepted to The College of Canyons. But waiting to hear from PCC as well, because it is closer to me. 
As I know it is not a lottery!

It’s not lottery. I got 87 but I don’t think I have any chance….95 to 100 is high ?

So I just checked the website it says

 

in the event there are equal number of students with equivalent points that exceeds the number of seat Available, those students with be placed in lottery for selection ..

uff gonna be hard.

I have like 85 points too!

wait, you applied to both their LVN program and RN program???

I called and asked what the process was like for applicants who applied to both programs, like is it possible to be accepted to both? and the lady told me I could only choose one and one application would be discarded if I applied to both. So I didn't apply to the LVN program only RN.

Wow, I had no idea. I thought that was our choice, we can apply for both, if both are accepted, then we can choose one. Why would they automatically remove one application? ?

I would email them Lilly thrinh so you don’t keep waiting for PCC let them know you got accepted to LVN program though.

Awesome let us know what they say maybe they changed rules ! I know some schools only lets you apply one only too! If not I’ll apply next time both !
