Pasadena City College ADN Fall 2023

Published

Hey Everyone! Just thought I'd make a thread for PCC's Fall 2023 ADN applicants. This is my first time applying and applications open up the week of April 1 - April 15. I have also applied to other schools like College of the Canyons, Pierce College, Glendale College, Antelope Valley College, Butte College. I wish everyone the best of luck!

Specializes in CNA.

Yeah, I put in my PCC email and got the confirmation email within a minute. I thought you were still having trouble, but you're good. Did you submit your official TEAS score? I can't remember if they said to do it or not, but I did it anyways since they keep it on file no matter what. Once you send it once from ATI to your school, you don't have to do it again. (unless there is a new version and your school is requesting it) how many points are you applying with?

But the thing is, when pcc send out the mails, it's always in the spam folder? so I need to check there regularly. I did sent to PCC, however I send it twice(because it was my first tome sending transcript from ATI, so I thought the first trial didn't went well), hope that won't be the issue. If they accept my license, I will be applying as 87

Yeah you gotta check the spam folder. LOL You have a very good average for points! mine is only 75 but I am hoping I get pooled into the random pick and get chosen. Are you already a nurse? CNA or LVN?

I just went back and looked back at the selection criteria and realized I calculated my points wrong and forgot to give myself 5 points. I'm assuming they double check all the points right? It would actually make a huge difference. ?

It's fine..... I actually added it up correctly. Wasn't sure about one of my classes so didn't give myself credit for it in the end. Just remembered that. Too many apps in my head right now!

Have you heard back from any yet? Looks like some people from chaffey and ELAC got their acceptance letters.

Hello everyone! How likely is it to get into this program with 80 points? And when do they usually end out acceptances?

I only applied to PCC, LACC, and GCC. I'm told at least another month to 6 weeks. ?

Did you move forward to GCC's second phase? I haven't heard back from PCC or LACC yet.

Im not sure but I applied with 82 points so if I reply that I got in then you might have a very good chance also. Keep us updated.

Have you heard back from GCC regarding the second phase? According to their timeline, they're sending out updates on May 12th?

I think we will be notified of GCC's second phase in a week or so.
