Parkland SICU Residency opened on April 29, 2014!!!

Good luck to all! SICU is a great unit and I spent many, happy years there!!

Specializes in SICU/ER.

We have around 9 in the SICU residency right now and haven't lost any of them. Far as I know, they have enjoyed being in the unit.

Thanks for all the info. I'm just weighing my options. This will be valuable in experience but a large pay cut. Once residency is complete are you able to negotiate your salary or is it a set rate for that also.

MissRN,BSN and TWU80 do you have any more interview tips? I am a foreign trained nurse and I will be having an interview for the SICU residency next week ? Thanks for your help in advance
