I thought we should start a new tread so we could stay up to date on any news regarding Parkland. I only applied to NICU and L&D nurse resident positions and graduate in May from UTA. I'm still praying Parkland calls!! ;)

Congratulations!!! :D

How long will the interviews be for L&D I am nervous myself I have not been contacted yet either...

Cbranch4 I'm sure they are having interviews next Mon & Tues. In my interview they said till the first week of May is what they had scheduled. I really hope you hear something soon! The start date for L&D is July 8th.

Congrats viwaRN... Who was your recruiter? ********?

Congrats viwaRN... Who was your recruiter? RM?

Thanks! Yes... ******

Thanks! I will keep praying for it

Awe man... I was hoping my recruiter was just slow.... :-) oh well... I guess I'll keep hoping until I hear otherwise...

I have that same recruiter.

Specializes in ICU, hospice.

*** for me too

I am guessing that since there were four interview panels interviewing candidates that the panels send their hires to the recruiters, so depending on when your panel releases their pics, then you'd get an email saying yes or no. So, possibly, even if we have the same recruiter, we still will be notified at a different time.

Specializes in ICU, hospice.

What group did you interview with?

Specializes in ICU.

I'm currently an ICU nurse at another hospital and had a LOT of questions in the ER interview. I think by the end of it we all agreed I needed to stay in critical care. Long story as to why I'm leaving (or was) my current hospital. I'm grateful I went though, I had turned them down in December and then when I had a benefits problem (not eligible for all) I decided I'd talk to them again. I'm glad I don't have to wonder about it now though.

Good luck to everyone!

I had the group that was a clinical manager in the ER, male ***** a Nurse III who was a ******, and a younger male nurse whose name starts with a *****...very nice. He had ********** hair.
