Parkland Hospital Summer 2017 GN

Hello!!

I am a senior nursing student graduating in May 2017 from Maine. I am moving to Dallas after graduation and want to do a new graduate nurse residency program. I was wondering if anyone knows when the positions for Parklands' New Grad programs for the summer 2017 cohorts will be posted?

I didn't get the ER one, I only got the NICU one and I only know of 1 person that wants to turn hers down.

To the people that applied and got interviews and offers do you have BSN or ADN and do you currently work for parkland. I am just asking because Ive been applying to positions like crazy and I was told by the recruiter that they are only taking BSN's and interviewing ADNs if there are left over spaces ?

Hello. I currently work for parkland and I will be graduating with my ADN. I interviewed for the ER, but didn't get it. I have a classmate who interviewed for the ER and got the position. He is an ER tech right now and also will have his ADN in May. I interviewed for the Neonatal ICU and was offered a position.

Yes he does work as an ER Tech in parkland.

I just got an interview for the med surg trauma residency! They acutely called me, so they may call for offers on a Saturday.

The manager works on saturdays that's why. I currently work on the floor. Is it 7 trauma?
