I'm currently in the ER residency and didn't interview until about month and a half before the start date. I had a one week notice before the interview, just to give you all a time frame :) Good luck!

Thanks aloix, I figured it would be awhile. Did you have a panel interview?

I got an email that my application has moved to next step and forwarded to hiring manager, but I do not think that means much.

Yeah that just means that it was passed on to the hiring manager. Doesn't necessarily mean you'll get an interview. But it does mean they will probably have interviews within the next few weeks or so depending on how fast they sort through the applications!
Yes I know, I currently work there in labor and delivery. I was just letting people know they have started the process.
Oh sorry. Didn't know that. Good luck to you. My application is under review as well!

I applied to the L&D residency and also received an email saying that my application was "successfully moved to the next stage for review." Don't know how long I'll have to wait...but I'm anxious! Anybody know what comes next?

Does anyone know any specifics about the program? I would like to know what days we go as interns, I have heard that it was an 8-5 M-F thing for the 16 weeks? True ? I have also heard that there are tests that are given throughout the program and was curious as to what they were covering? And I had read a response stating that pay started around 24.50 and I was wondering if this was just throughout the residency or if this would be the rate through the duration of the 3 years.
After your complete your residency which I believe is 6 months and become RN1 it goes up to 27.83 (not exactly sure but it's $27 and change). That's not including diff
