That's a good question I am wondering too...since there is A LOT content on Saunders I've been studying only the pyramids points in each chapter and then taking the test at the end and for now I've been passing >75% so i think its better studying those PP's. :) but anyway looking forward to that answer from someone else.
Just my input...
I recently failed my NCLEX in 75 questions ( as of July) so I am using Suzannes plan exclusively. What I have noticed is that at the beginning of every chapter is a section called "Pyramid to Success". This section gives key points on what to focus on. I have noticed that the info correlates with info that was on my NCLEX and also on the performance sheet I rcvd from NCSBN. I have started not only reviewing the whole chapter but placing lots of emphasis on what is in the "Pyramid to Success" section and the pyramid points. Did anyone else notice this too? And for those who have taken the exam (NCLEX) and failed and are using Saunders, have you noticed any info with emphasis from the "Pyramids to Success" section and pyramid points that u could relate to the NCLEX you took?
I have noticed that as well. But, also notice that there are answers to questions that are not PP. I am currently using Suzanne's plan and am halfway with Saunders. I use a lot of kaplan's test taking strategies as well as Saunders. (Read the chapter 5 SAunders 3rd edition on test taking strategies.) It's very helpful. Although, I bombed on Pediatric Health. I notice also that kaplan's questions were similar of that with saunders, meaning it asks what is frequestly tested on the NCLEX and saunders focuses on that with the pyramid points.

Hi, everyone:
I just have a question regarding the paramid points in the Saunders book. Are you guys paying close attention to those? Did you find them helpful? Thanks!
