sorry i don't have any advice for you, but can I ask for which department this is for? I applied to some units but didn't get any response =/
ICU...had the interview already. It went well but the waiting part is horrible!

I had an interview and accepted a position for Medical ICU. My interview was on the 15th and I accepted the position on the 22nd. I'm happy but I won't let myself get to carried away until I sign paperwork. :anbd:
Congrats! I still haven't heard anything so I called the supervisor today to see where the unit is at in the hiring process. I wonder how many new grads they are hiring?
I was told 4 for ICU during the interview.
oh wow!! congrats everyone! i applied to medical ICU but i knew for sure i wasn't qualified for it. I don't have any ICU experience, but applied anyways. I just applied to the new graduate med-surg position that was posted up the other day. Do you guys know when the starting date is?
Well its probably a no for me then but I won't give up competely until I hear from the supervisor. If anything changes I'll let you know! Now that you were offered a job just relax and enjoy the little free time before you start working : )
@TeleNurse22: I applied to the ICU position as a new grad with no experience as well and got an interview so always apply anyway! I applied to the med-surg as well, hopefully we both get interviews for that position!
Don't give up. I thought that I wasn't going to get it and I was pleasantly suprised. I had aready started looking outside the state. Also, I didn't have any ICU experience either.
Also, today I noticed a new grad position (don't remember where) and a burn icu position posted.
I don't know when I will start. I was told to wait for HR to call but I guess since they're hiring a lot more people I may have to wait until the group is formed. I asked the supervisor what I should be doing in the meantime to prepare and he said rest . I'll need it once training starts. I was told that training was pretty intense.
I hope to meet up with you guys there.
Thanks for the advice, I hope to see you there too! : )
