Pancreatitis and alcoholism

Hello, I was curious if having biliary emesis with pancreatitis and alcoholism was a serious issue that should be followed up at a later time? And if not what other issues would require immediate follow up?

Yes, pancreatitis and alcoholism should be followed up. Biliary emesis-meaning vomiting until all you have left is bile due to increased alcohol intake related to alcoholism? Yes, that would be followed up with the alcoholism. Normally pancreatitis patients are in the ICU they should have follow up.

Thank you, I was primarily curious if the bile emesis was a major issue in this client's scenario.

It is my hope that this is not something you are experiencing yourself; neither you nor someone close to you. This should MOST DEFINETLY be an issue under CURRENT medical care, not something to be followed 'at later time'.

I believe it's homework.

I was kind of thinking that too.

I sooooo dislike being snookered, but in good faith, the possibility that this might really be someone uninformed seeking real information for a real situation, I responded.

Sometimes I think I'm toooo much of a doubter. My bad.
