Just wanted to make a thread for fellow applicants at Palomar College Nursing Program for the Fall 2025 semester. I applied, it's my first time applying. I think if they count all my points I will be at 89 points. I applied at Mira Costa as well, but as many of you know, the lottery system is a complete gamble. 

So far, I have received an email that my application had been accepted and the email specified that they hope to be issuing decisions by mid-April to may.

did anyone here applied to CSUSM? I applied and got a notification that I am number 6 on the waitlist... I don't know if that's good or bad LOL, and OMG I was panicking because in order to remain on the waitlist I have to accept my admission to my alternative major which I initially declined because I didn't know until I checked my student portal and got that notification!! They only sent me an email stating that I got into my alternative major which I instantly assumed that I did not get into the nursing program at all so this morning I had to call admission and explain my situation and thank goodness they were able to reactivate my admission to my alternative major so I guess now I just have to wait and see if I get off the waitlist 😞 and I haven't heard anything from palomar. Palomar is the only school I am waiting to heard back from!! I am soooo curious on how they do their lottery/point system selection?

No one knows how they do their point/lottery system at this point. All I can rely on is prayers now tbh.

I wonder if they will have us wait another week for more emails. Did they put a deadline to accept standby?

Hi guys. Im new here. This is my 3rd time applying to palomar college. I got rejected twice before . But this time they put me on a standby list. So I m hoping God works magic and accept everyone in the standby list for palomar 😭.

Hi! Welcome :))) do you happen to know if you were put on the standby list for the lottery spots or was it the point spot.
